Ian Lenagan started software companies WorkPlace Systems plc in 1986 & TeleWare in 1990, growing to £22m turnover and £3.1m pre-tax profit. Ian Chaired their IPO as TeleWork Systems plc in 2000 at a valuation of £145m receiving £30m cash as the majority shareholder. From 2011 - 2018 he concentrated on the ownership and operation of professional sports clubs: Oxford United FC, Wigan Rugby League Club - and subsequently on his roles as a Director on the FA Board and as EFL Chairman.
